went to model drawing session last night again (finally!).
the model sat for a three hour pose. twenty minute increments. break for a few. back for another twenty etc. the pose she struck and what we ended up working from was...fine. nothing terribly exciting. the funny thing was that after the first twenty minutes, just at the first break, the model kind of relaxed. looked down at her hands as her hair fell and THAT would have been the more interesting pose IMO. i overheard someone else at the session say the same thing. but anyway....
i know her nose is rather pronounced in this doodle. but there was something about the plane of her nose and the way the light was hitting it that kept my attention drawn (heh) to it.
