last couple i like from the sesh.

a couple of more poses drawn from the arteests....posing. these poses were held for five minutes give or take.

went to an art session earlier this evening. gesture drawing! weee! love doing this kind of thing. all the artists there took turns posing. three poses. each held for about a minute or so. my poses got a round of applause! :} fun was had. 

"victims"

i am a bookaholic. no doubt about it. love books. therefore it is not uncommon to see me at the local Borders book store(s). i'm one of the many regulars. 

but aside from prowling the book aisles, bookstores are also great for people watching. which leads to sketching. a few of my "victims" up above. 

model no show fo sho!

finally found a group that does semi-regular modeling sessions. i am now a member of said group. i went to my first "official" model doodling session the other night. problem was...the model never showed.  so one of the group volunteered to sit. posted the result. 

i'm not really trying to capture an exact likeness. i just have a blast playing with line, form and exaggerated color etc. as one can tell by the blistering bright blush of her cheeks. 

we also listened to barry white while "art-ing". it was sezzy.
