these were a fun bit of doin'. me in my cramped little space. done on comic book backing boards. clipped to a portable drawing board. placed on an easel. scribbled with ink n' brush. 

just fast, furious and impulsive.

i freed a ladybug today that had been flitting about my room for the past couple of days. couldn't keep track of the little sheit until said bug landed on my comp monitor while i was computin'. grabbed Lbug up, opened up my window and let fly. 

i hope it remembers me someday.

in other art news...the new al columbia book PIM & FRANCIE was a-boughtin' by me (and hopefully many others) today. wow! what a pervasive sense of dread and creep columbia has at his command.  the book is a collection of bits and pieces doodles and drawings he has done over the last few years or so. columbia is so elusive that i am now afraid that we'll never see anything from this guy again. which would be a tremendous shame. i have long been an admirer of al's. now i want more. greedy me. here's hopin' we see more of his work soon.
